Types Of DJ's

  As u may know there can be people who  are in the industry for different reasons, but i can assure u that there can be only one reason to be a DJ, which is the love of music. Some people enjoy the sound of saxophone, some other types of instruments like accordion or flute but they all share the passion for music.
  Being in the industry for money or some other reason other than love of music is way too much for a human being, i mean we all have feelings and needs and when those needs are not met there comes a huge gap to jump over off. I mean its very easy to fall into wrong type of DJ-ing that u cant even imagine. It's ok to play the tunes that your crowd wants, from time to time even if u dont like them but never let that become a habit otherwise you are not getting down with your music which will eventually reflect on your behaviour (also in your personal life) and that can be a very bad thing. You need to be creative about this and always be finding an interesting new tunes to entertain both yourself and your audience. Finally it all comes down to balance, if u get tired of your crowd or music or u simply dont feel like DJ-ing its better to ask for a break or delay the gig if possible so u can refresh and prepare for the next party.
  One last thought about this is that you need to have great social skills as a DJ because u will come in contact with lots of people and your relationships with them (and all other people) will be the determining factor in your success as a DJ.
